About Zoido

  • This is my Zoids site.
  • “Zoido” is how you pronounce the three Japanese characters found above the logo: zo-i-do.
  • I am on a constant (well, occasional) quest to make it more than just pretty.
  • This is the umpteenth+2 incarnation.
  • I’ve been collecting since 1995.
  • It is highly probable that if I ever manage to get pictures of everything I own, the universe will collapse in on itself and all existence will cease.

About Zoids

  • The short version:
    Zoids are cool.
  • The medium length version:
    I’ve been obsessed with them since I was a kid (with a short break during my teen years, when I thought I had to be “too cool” for toys). Being into robots, dinosaurs, and building and taking things apart, they are just about the perfect toy.
  • The long version:
    Here is the entirely true story of how a childhood obsession became an adult obsession.
