Custom Blox
These came out in early 2006, along with the first Neo Blox (with which they can combine). The theory is that they were originally to be released as “Baratz 2: Electric Boogaloo”, but got postponed until the Neo Blox release for whatever reason.
- General:
The new mans figures are more detailed (even the underside of the laying down one), but look even smaller than the old ones. If they’re still trying to be 1/72 scale, these new recruits were probably jockeys in a former life. MIDGET FIGHTERS! - CBZ-01 Metal Hopper (grig type)
Becomes a booster. - CBZ-02 Spearwing (moth type)
Becomes some kind of spear/claw contraption. Also note the metal flake finish. - CBZ-03 Garninaru (grub type)
Turns into a large cannon. The new style pilots don’t fit very well, so it looks like they’re holding hands. - CBZ-04 Harpers (spider type)
Odd name for a spider. Becomes a set of claws (they can fit on Deadly Kong’s Scissor Arm). - CBZ-05 Killer Bee (paper wasp type)
Abdomen becomes a gun mount, but that looks weird. - CBZ-06 Deadbuster (lady bird type)
Has a bunch of missile pods that open up.
