Evil Pegasus

For some reason, my Pegasus sheds armor like a bio zoid. This color scheme is much better than the OJR Orudios, unless you’re really PROUD TO BE AN AMURRIKAAAAAAANNNNN… (ahem) Anyway, I was mad that I had to pay $30 for one of these back in 1999, until a couple years ago, when I saw what they’re going for now.

Note to anyone making an offer: Several moves ago when I was disassemlbing this for transport, the piece that holds the wing in place broke, because that’s what these things do. You’re lucky if you don’t break it during regular assembly. I replaced it with a segment of sprue of equal thickness, so it works just fine. But… MY COLLECTOR VALUE AND/OR EMOTIONS!

Any chance you know where to get a copy of a assembly manual. My son just bought one and no manual, and he asks me every day to put it together. If so contact me at smatthews@ns.sympatico.ca
    any information would be appreciated

Rofl I remember this. I loved that one when I was younger. I wish I still had it, but it broke. Coolest Zoid ever.

    Hello,
I bought an Evil Pegasus on ebay. It was “sealed”. Or rather, the bags were, the box wasn’t. The seller didn’t know that the motor was missing. Do you know if any other zoid shares the same motor that I could use it for my pegasus.
    Thanks,
    Eric

I will dig mine up and have a look at its motor this week. Hopefully there’s a match!

Interesting I had the same problem.
I got mine way back in the day, it sparked my fascination with zoids before I knew what zoids are. The motor was missing, I ended up using chopsticks to attach the legs together and a black pouch to stuff the abdomen…Im also looking for a possible donor engine to get old orudios to finally work.

I think the shedding of the armor comes with age. I got mine way back in ’95 for about $15 and I’ve started getting the same problem. Does your Pegy’s cockpit cover and/or mouth come loose and sort of drop open on its own?

@Alex: I think the mouth on mine was ok (it’s been stored for a while). The cockpit cover was kind of loose, so the eye piece would just jump right out.
