@Zero: I added some scans from the instructions and some extra notes. Hopefully this will help, and sorry for being such a slowpoke! Before gluing, test the parts first to make sure the glue won’t interfere with movement. My memory is awful, and I build this a long time ago. Also, this is a pricy kit!

@Cody: there are a few ways. I like to use a Gundam Marker (fine point, easy to wipe off mistakes). You draw in the panels, then wipe off the excess with a paper towel or your finger. Black is good for darker colors, and they have grey and brown for lighter parts. You can do paint (thinned!) too, but I'm not as good with that. Here a couple articles that may help: one, two, three. Just don't use black on white armor, or it'll look awful!

The review looks very helpful. But one problem, (don’t laugh) how do you panel line? See I’ve been a zoids fan for ever and I’ve recently heard of panel lining but have no idea how to do it.

That’s good to know. I have got a HMM geno-breaker to put together but running short on time hence my earlier question. Since this is my first time with HMM kits I’m expecting the needed modifications to take up quite some time as well.

@T: It took about 15 hours, over several evenings. Some of that was painting, and repainting when I messed up, and some was doing pics for the review, but it’s a pretty long build.
