• Zoidspoison / Zoidstalk
  Mainly based in Singapore, but anyone is welcome. Members gain access to hobby magazine scans and mass orders of rare goodies.
• Phenotype’s Zoids Forum
  Not as active as during its heyday, but still a friendly place.
• ZoidFans
  As a dog returneth to his vomit, so Zoidfans returneth to Yahoo. Actually, the Yahoo Groups service looks a lot better these days. The lords of the Old School hang out here.

Stores

These are my main sources. There are others I hit every so often, which I’ll add eventually.

• Hobby Link Japan
  This is a good place to preorder new items, but you have to be quick! Check OFTEN, and preorder as soon as you see something new. Once the items are in stock, there might not be enough to go around. Older stock doesn’t hang around too long. SAL shipping is a good bargain, and I’ve never had a problem with these guys.
• Toy Wave
  Good prices, but the shipping will get you (they’re in Hong Kong). They often get new shipments of older limiteds, so check often. Pheno’s forum members get a discount!
• Tisinc99.com (website) / tisinc (ebay auctions)
  They have a pretty good selection, and usually ship same day. Fuzors and Genesis kits’ prices have been falling lately. Sometimes the ebay store has cheaper prices, but sometimes the website does. Check both! One warning: they get overloaded in December (I wonder why???), so there could be delays or mistakes.

  Did you lose your instructions for ________? If you’re lucky (ie, it had a Hasbro release), you can find them here.

English

• Phenotype’s Zoids Site
  Probably the most extensive english site. Has pictures and descriptions for almost every new release. Mostly dormant, but still lots of info.
• Lionel Tosan’s Site
  An extensive listing of zoid rarities. If you own something that’s listed on his site, you’re probably quite lucky. Also check out: Customs (awesome, OER-themed), For sale (rarities!).
• Channel Zi
  Back up in your ass with the resurrection! John Wakefield is from the old school, and is rebuilding his extensive site (lost to server malfeasance three years back). Also check out the old site, most of which was indexed by the Wayback Machine. Most.
• Creative Insanity (Tilly)
  Lots of reviews, and translated Japanese. Another of the many sites that has a better links page than mine.
• WIKD: Zoid.US / blog
  Lots of pictures and reviews–many with step-by-step construction pics–plus interviews with some of the old-timers of the zoid world (like me). Has recently expanded to include “other robots”. I credit him for introducing me to Gundam kits!
• Stompy’s Custom Zoids
  Pics and battle story info on his awesome CGI Zoids. He had one of his customs done on a 3D printer, so bug him til he puts pics up!
• Zoidology (Zee)
  One of the most interesting customizers in the world. Lots of mythological creatures and obscure dino types.

These aren’t very active anymore, but hopefully will resume someday…

• Mike Meier’s Site
  There’s something about his photo style that I like. Plus I stole part of his popup window script.
• Tres Wright
  A master of painting, especially the tiny mind riders. Many good customs to be found. Hasn’t been updated since the discovery of fire, which is a shame.

The following sites are not in english, beware!

• (formerly known as) Zoids Corner
  This one’s called something else now, but I never remember what (something about 10 years later). Has pics of almost every zoid ever.
• Life of Every Day (sometimes people call it Lifezoids)
  Along the lines of Zoids Corner, but with bigger pics. Dude has just about every limited that has come out. The homepage shows what’s recently updated (lots of SD gundams and anime girlz lately), or you can skip all that and go straight to the zoids.
• The coolest fanart I have ever seen
  It’s like Zoids, but set in the 30s? And cartoony? The page with the propeller driven Glidoler seems to be missing, so here’s the pic, which I preserved for posterity: Awesome-sauce
• Zoids Icons
  Not just icons, but Super Deformed icons! (Thanks to Tilly for finding this again)
• lightjester
  Amazing customs. Lots of tiny gears!
• one of the first "Schubaltz" Kongs
  A useful how-to for putting a CP-03 on your Kong.

  Hoping she'll return one day. Not even the PG Astray brought her out of hiding, though.
• Starriors
  This site is awesome. It is totally based on the packaging art of the toys. Scans of every single starrior.
• Gundam Store and More
  Now that I don’t hate Gundams, I’ve been finding a lot more things to want from this site. They have good prices (best value on gundam markers I’ve seen so far), and fast shipping. (They still carry a few zoids too, but you should email first to check on specifics.)
